Photo of Volumetric Capture Stage

The Center for Digital Humanities operates one of fewer than a dozen volumetric capture stages in the United States, producing immersive three-dimensional recordings for use in augmented reality, museum exhibits, and digital archives. Current projects include a collaboration with the Tucson Jewish Museum to preserve the testimonies of Holocaust survivors, as well as a collaboration with the Maduro Museum in Curaçao to preserve the stories of community leaders.
